High School Classes - 2008-2009 - 11/3/2008 HS Art Students Fall Photo Contest
FHS art Students honored in NCCA annual Fall Photo Contest
Early this October, students from the FHS photo art classes were invited to enter a piece into the annual Fall Photo Contest held at the Arts Place, downtown in Fremont. Photo students shot their 35mm black and white film, developed it in class, and then processed their prints in the high school dark room. Out of the 72 pieces entered, 32 black and white photo entries came from our darkroom. Of those entries, 2 FHS students were awarded with Honorable Mention ribbons. Junior, Kristin Beeler entered a photo of 2 children telling secrets in a field of tall flowers. Senior, Trent Rosenberg shot a low angle photo crouched between rows of cornstalks for his entry.
All the entries hung at the NCCA Arts Place on display for the last half of October. It was a nice opportunity to showcase some of the fine work being done by FHS art students this year. Congratulations Kristin and Trent for such a great start in photo class.
