High School Classes - 2006-2007 - Art 1/Creative Studies

These projects were made by the Art 1/Creative Studies classes here at FHS. Students were to create a colage which was 3-D, able to hang or stand, and included at least 18 things about themselves. Students started with nothing but cardboard, glue and ideas. They then cut, attatched and built baseboards which would support objects, photos and momentos that directly related to things in their own lives. The requirement that the piece not be flat meant that various levels and extensions needed to be incorporated into their compositions. The results were outstanding, and can be seen on display in the hallways outside the art room on the third floor. Come check out these projects and see all the great things students are doing in art!
